Meet the Team
Matt Gormley – General Manager
Matt brings more than 25 years of global experience to the Style Event Design Team. Matt’s career started with Euro Disney in Paris where he was a member of the opening team in development. In London, he was integral to the success of a start-up restaurant group. 15 years ago he came to Las Vegas and spent more than five years in leadership roles including State Director Nevada, with March of Dimes. Matt has also been a Director of Sales and Account Executive in Special Events and Destination Management Companies for more than 10 years. Matt is passionate about delivering and executing incredible events and experiences. Relationships are key as well as inspiring greatness in others.
Matt is a graduate of Bentley University in Boston, Massachusetts. Matt has lived in more than 7 countries. He loves to travel and appreciates great food and wine. He collects art. He has been married for 25 years and has two teenagers and a gorgeous 150 pound Dogue de Bordeaux.
Robin Traficanti – Director of Sales
Robin is a 28-year veteran of the hospitality industry with extensive experience in Las Vegas hotel sales and special event design and décor. She was on the opening team for The Mirage Hotel, where she spent 14 years and served as the Director of Sales. After leaving The Mirage, she spent six years in destination management and was later responsible for opening the Las Vegas office of kool. Party Rentals. Robin led sales efforts at kool. Las Vegas for the past six years before joining the team at Style Event Design.

When she is not executing sales strategy at Style, Robin can be seen around town at nearly every industry event. Robin has two teenage boys, so with her precious spare time, she loves crafting. Whether it be décor for her home, her office at Style, designing custom costumes in anticipation of her favorite holiday (Halloween), or adding to her fabulous shoe collection, Robin is always in style and representing Style at all times.
Becky Gregory – Design Director

Becky brings 19 years of experience to the Style Event Design team. She contributes an extensive sales, marketing, and operations background that includes event design, destination services, hotel operations and sports events management. Becky has spent over 16 years in the Las Vegas market, working on a myriad of successful events for Fortune 500 corporations, travel and incentive companies, hotels, and social clients.
She is familiar with the intricacies inherent to the Las Vegas marketplace and offers clients a valuable insight into the exciting design possibilities for their events. Becky graduated with a degree in Public Relations from the nationally accredited University of Oregon School of Journalism. A fun fact about Becky ~ she is an avid country music fan. In fact she even met her husband at a country music concert; she was about to slip and fall and he reached out and caught her…the rest is history as they say!
Michelle Sandler, CEM – Director of Operations
When it comes to planning event décor, an enormous part of the success is in the execution of the décor. That is where Michelle comes in.
As the Director of Operations for Style Event Design, Michelle Sandler is responsible for ensuring that every piece of décor is delivered and set up according to the client’s exact specifications. As the Chuck Norris of event décor operations, she has an impeccable eye for details and logistics. Michelle brings over 12 years of experience to the Style Event Design team, including her work for 8 years as a certified exhibition manager. Her detail oriented nature will leave your event so flawlessly executed that you will question whether she is in fact a real human being. We assure you, she is real. Perfection is her goal. Every time, for every event.
Eric Leins – Production Coordinator
With nearly two decades of experience in the décor and event industry, Eric has rightfully earned the recognition of his peers as a seasoned event professional, artist, designer, and logistical specialist. He has built an accomplished career with a reputation for providing high quality events, on time, and always within budget. His exceptional leadership skills are emphasized by his attention to detail, organization, and his unique ability to creatively think outside of the box. It’s this type of thinking that has helped Eric as he has worked through a variety of roles, from business owner to artist.
When Eric isn’t busy creating quality décor pieces with the Style Event Design team, he is spending time with his two children, Sage and Gavan, and enjoying his own small city-farm filled with an extensive vegetable garden and a fabulous collection of egg producing chickens with his girlfriend Tiffany.
